Our Story
Comfort should go wherever you go.
Qticare began with a simple memory: a grandmother, a hard wooden stool, and a child who wished she could make it more comfortable.
Yami grew up watching her grandmother spend day after day on that stool — cooking, mending, and caring for the family. She was too young to change it then, but she never forgot.
Years later, living in California with her husband, product designer James, Yami found herself facing a different kind of hard seat: long flights across the Pacific.
Airplane seats were uncomfortable. Foam cushions were bulky. Most inflatable pads simply weren’t designed for everyday comfort.
So Yami and James created Qticare — a lightweight, packable inflatable seat cushion with adjustable firmness and a built-in press pump, made for flights, road trips, stadiums, offices, and wherever life asks you to sit.
The first working prototype went to Yami’s grandmother.
That simple idea still guides us today:
Make comfort easier to carry.
